Trip to Queen of Hills

If you are planning a combined trip to Darjeeling and Gangtok, I can surely help you out. As it is very confusing where to visit first.Darjeeling falls under West Bengal, while Gangtok is the capital of  Sikkim. It takes about 4 hours to reach one place from another.
As per my experience, one should start with Darjeeling and then visit Gangtok…What say? The former is a picturesque hilltop, with unscathed beauty and interesting spots to boast of. Also, It is internationally renowned for its tea industry, as you all are familiar.Guys, if you are a foodie, trust me you will fall in love with the Chinese cuisines of the place. Do not forget to taste the yummy ‘Momos’, savor a hot cup of Darjeeling Tea and drink ‘Thentuk’, the hearty Tibetan soup.
Darjeeling is an extremely beautiful city in itself, offering excellent scenic vistas of mountains, valleys, springs, lakes and colorful flora-fauna.It is known for its five T’s – tourism sector, tea gardens, trekking spots, teak forests, toy train and Tiger hill..And the last thing A ride in the Toy Train of Darjeeling is one of the things-to-do that you must not miss if you have planned a trip to Darjeeling…
After spending time in Darjeeling, visiting Gangtok could be a dream come true moment. It is situated at an altitude of 5500 feet above sea level, the height at which aircraft flies. You need to have at least 4 days to memorize the powerful magic of Gangtok.
Changu Lake is covered by snow and is very close to China border, you can have great fun here in the snow,  but don’t forget to pack yourself in jackets as the temperature is equivalent to the refrigerator.

For the animals lovers, we have Zoo which specializes in the captive breeding of the endangered animals found in the alpine region. Endangered species like the Red Panda and Snow Leopard are bred here in captivity.
At the end, if you want to experience some of the most breathtaking and awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas you must visit Tashi View Point. It is the spot provides a brilliant panoramic view of the Kanchendzonga Mountain on a clear day.
